First look at the integrated resort design for Caesars Republic Sonoma County—where the valley sets the pace and evenings are to be enjoyed.

At a Glance

  • Project: Caesars Republic Sonoma County — integrated resort & casino revamp

  • Location: Geyserville, CA, hillside above the Alexander Valley

  • Program (planned): New 100‑key hotel; spa, pool, and fitness; refreshed casino floor with 1,000+ slots and ~28 table games; signature dining (steakhouse, Asian, café); sports bar, fireside lounge, and wine bar with outdoor deck

  • Design language: Wine‑country modern—arches, trellises, warm stone, matte metals, and an indoor–outdoor rhythm

A Setting That Sets the Pace

Perched above the Alexander Valley, the site gives us a natural brief: let Sonoma lead. Terraces and trellises shape a day‑to‑evening cadence—sunlit coffees by the pool, golden‑hour glasses on the deck, starlit conversations by a low fire. Architecture frames the landscape without competing with it, so the place does the talking.

Design DNA: Wine‑Country Modern

  • Materiality: Warm walnut and espresso woods, veined stones in creams and ambers, matte black metals, and soft bronze.

  • Geometry: Arches and shallow vaults in arrival spaces; ring chandeliers and layered coves inside; trellis and pergola structures outside.

  • Light: A gentle glow—grazing on stone, back‑lit bottle walls, candle‑like lanterns on terraces.

  • Rhythm: Open sightlines where you want energy; intimate rooms‑within‑rooms where you want conversation.

The Floor: Energy with Edges

The casino floor reads as a clear promenade with short decision distances and anchors in view. You’ll notice the sports bar—a long, linear bar with back‑lit bottle displays and a ribbon of screens—acting as a natural beacon. Adjacent lounge pockets keep conversations close to the action without getting lost in it.

Bars as Beacons

Fireside Lounge. Amber metals, sculpted stone, and soft seating create a dusk‑friendly lounge that feels crafted and close.

Wine Bar + Deck. A pergola‑shaded terrace with lantern light, seasonal plantings, and wind‑screened rails—made for evenings when the sky does its best work.

Signature Dining

Steakhouse. Symmetry, an open kitchen “stage,” and illuminated wine displays define a classic, confident room.

Asian Restaurant. A cinematic red coffered ceiling, carved reliefs, and round tables tuned for convivial service.

Café. Daylight, greenery, and a gentle palette for all‑day ease.

Outdoor Rooms & Pool Deck

Stepped decks cascade down the hillside—loungers, daybeds, conversational pits, and a reflective water edge. Evenings bring low flames, small lights, and silhouettes of slender evergreens. The indoor–outdoor idea isn’t an amenity; it’s the operating system.

High‑Limit & Private Rooms

A filtered threshold leads into a high‑limit room that feels quiet and considered—satin metals, soft stone, and lighting tuned for comfort. The room balances privacy with presence: close to the action, but composed on its own terms.

Guestrooms & Suites

In the guestrooms, a full‑height headboard wall and a textural tray ceiling create a calm frame for the view. Suites introduce residential gestures—fireplace, dining for four, layered rugs—so evenings feel unhurried and weekends make sense.

The Guest Journey in Six Beats

  1. Arrive in style; orientation is immediate.
  2. Pause at the lobby bar, where bottles glow like a welcome.
  3. Explore the floor; the sports bar comes into view and sets the tempo.
  4. Dine—steakhouse lightness or the drama of the Asian room.
  5. Exhale on the wine‑bar deck, under a trellis and a soft sky.
  6. Retreat to a room that feels like it was drawn around the view.
